DISCIPLESHIP - COMMITMENT

What is discipleship?  What is discipleship?

It is what Jesus called our daily walk with God—a journey that impacts our minds, transforms our hearts, and teaches us how to become more and more like Him. Discipleship is the process of building a closer relationship with Jesus every day and learning from Him how to live, love, and think more like Him.

The first step of discipleship is resetting our minds and thoughts, which comes from spending daily time with Jesus. Your thoughts shape your mind, and your mind shapes your life. So what you feed your mind will shape who you become.

So who is shaping your thoughts and your life? If you are not intentional about it, social media algorithms or someone else will make that decision for you. So why don’t you let Jesus guide your life for 30 days and see if you’re better off than before? Here is the first step to experience the impact of walking with Jesus in your life:

GIVE HIM AT LEAST 10 MINUTES OF YOUR TIME EVERY DAY.
Join us as we do this together for the next month:

WHAT TO DO:

Discipleship Step #1: Reset Your Mind

Spend at least 10 minutes daily with Jesus:

  • 1 min – Stop & Let your mind be silent
  • 5 min – Read through your daily reading (see the reading chart below)
  • 3 min – ReflectWhat did the people experience in this story? (Consider the five senses: hearing, sight, touch, taste, smell)
  • 1 min – ApplyWhat insights is God trying to communicate to me that could benefit my life today?

Take few moment during the day to talk to God in prayer!
