Renewal is a new Community Church focused on Rockville, Gaithersburg, and North Bethesda.
It is more than just another place to worship—it’s about building a faith community for the next generations, particularly professional young adults, where we all can experience the love of Jesus and begin a personal walk with God.

Our Philosophy of Ministry
To create variety of SPACES where individuals from various backgrounds can freely participate in both non-Christian and Christian groups and activities, tailored to their personal needs and interests, without any obligation or expectations. At Renewal Church we aim to function as a hub helping to connect people with solutions and resources for their real-life challenges and needs. Through each of these spaces, we strive to convey God's transformative love to all friends and guests, and offer spiritual support to those embarking on a personal faith journey with Jesus. These SPACES are divided into three distinct types.

Transformative community spaces where individuals are invited to join groups focused on wrestling with deep faith questions, important Bible themes, exploring the nature of our Creator God, and guiding participants toward what it means to live a fully devoted life with Jesus Christ.

Spaces where people can join small communities focused on common interests, engage in meaningful conversations, develop genuine friendships through social interactions, collaborate, and help each other learn together, and discover greater meaning in their lives.

Spaces where Christian, post-Christian, and non-Christian individuals can connect based on common interests, network, and discover resources for their real-life needs. Here, they can engage in finding practical solutions for everyday challenges and experience renewal in their lives.
Contribute to this Project
As we try to lease and move into a more permanent location that will allow us to develop fully our Renewal Life Space, Center of Influence (COI), we working to fundraise $450,000. This money will provide sufficient financial resources to lease an adequate facility of 4,500-5,000 square foot space, furnish it, and will give us an year of resources to support us while we develop the Renewal Life Space, The Renewal Café, and The Renewal Tech Space with the minimum staffing we need.
Our feasibility plan is designed so that within the first year of opening the center, we will become self-sufficient through the non-profit operations income from the café and the tech-space, and the projected general donations and fundraising coming through the church.
Our commitment to our donors is that as soon as we become self sufficient, we will work to invest any extra income from our non-profit operations into starting another church start up (church planting project) with a similar community focus.
